The Second Half: There is a random carnival/track team/photography scene. Madison finds Kairos, Kairos gets killed and Madison becomes the new dark timekeeper. This was a very surprising twist I did not see coming. Kind of sad I can sum up the second half in 2 sentences, but essentially that is all that happened. Madison also still never got with Josh, but she never got with Barnabas either :/
Book as a Whole: This book was ok; it was not as amazing as the short story. The ending leaves lots of unanswered questions but there is a sequel. I'm not sure if I'll read the sequel or not. I found it very strange that the good people became the bad guys and the bad people are supposedly the good guys...At least the book makes the reader think about if life is all fate or all choice; which is cool. Personally I believe in both. I believe in fate, that somethings are just destined to happen, but I think we are given the choice of how we will get to that fate and the choice of choosing that fate or not. Thoughts to ponder!
